San Diego State came into Wednesday's game against Air Force undefeated, but were showing their opponent a great deal of respect.

“We’re playing a team (tonight), and this is not coach talk, that is so much better than the Air Force team we’ve seen the last two years,” head coach Steve Fisher said. “They’re a very, very good basketball team that’s confident with 10 victories, having beaten Utah, having led UNLV for the majority of the game and they will be coming in, as we, with an intent on doing whatever they have to do to win.”

Air Force forward Tom Fow is incredibly impressed with the talent within his conference.

“The Mountain West Conference is unbelievable,” Fow said. “I look on ESPN and see San Diego State ranked seventh, BYU in the top 25, and UNLV. These teams are really good, very talented and very well coached.”
